I believe Lin Beifong is the most powerful character in this show, not because she could bend metal like a badass. Not because she is the daughter of Toph Beifong.

She is the most powerful because she risked it all, to save a family. A family that would likely change the world. She had taken the risk, and she lost it.

Her Bending.

But even as she was ready to lose everything. The very thing that she grew up with and mastered. She didn’t shed a single tear. Even as I write this, I am tearing up.

Lin Beifong. 

You are my hero.
